Parola giapponese usata soprattutto nel mondo degli anime e manga per descrivere un personaggio che appare inizialmente freddo e scostante, per rivelare poi con il tempo un lato gentile ed affettuoso.
La parola è ricavata dall'unione di tsun tsun ツンツン ('andarsene via con rabbia e disgusto') e dere dere デレデレ ('affezionarsi').
L'uccellino è un Meguro (メグロ), endemico delle isole Ogasawara.
